What are Your Hyatt Points Worth?

Hyatt points are valued at about 1.5 cents each.

To find the value of your points, just divide the room cost by the number of points required and then multiply by 100.

For example, take a look at the cost for 1 night at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort. The total cost for a room is $936, but the same room can be booked with 25,000 points (standard), giving you a 3.7 cents per point value — a great deal!!

Final Thoughts

Using World of Hyatt points is a fantastic way to travel without spending a lot of money.

Whether you like to save your points and splurge on a luxury hotel stay or spread your points as far as they can go at moderate hotels, you’ll love traveling for “free”!

While it can be helpful to know the value per point you’re getting, don’t put too much emphasis on it — if points can get you where you want to go when you want to go, then they’re doing their job. The main objective of the whole miles and points game is to travel more — however it suits you!

Everyone has different travel goals, so make sure you are using your points how they will work best for you and your family.
