World of Hyatt Debuts on March 1, 2017

On Wednesday, March 1 Hyatt Gold Passport will officially be changed to World of Hyatt.  Most of the changes involve how to achieve elite status (aka it’s going to be harder to achieve and maintain elite status).  The other notable change is the names of the statuses  – they will now be known as Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist…yeah, I don’t get it either.

Booking Southwest Airlines Fights

Southwest Airlines

Southwest Airlines opens up their schedule in small chunks every couple of months and can usually only be booked about 6 months in advance.  Most other airlines will let you book just under a year in advance.  If you have any late summer or Labor Day flights in your future, you can now book on Southwest through Sept 29, 2017!  Even if you aren’t 100% sure of your travel dates, it doesn’t hurt to book with Southwest since there are no change fees!

Chase Ink Business Preferred 100,000 Point Bonus

Chase Ink Business Preferred

I recently wrote about rumors of an increased bonus on the Chase Ink Business Preferred Card.  Now the rumors have been confirmed.  Via Million Mile Secrets, there will be an increased offer of 100,000 bonus points on this card starting March 12, 2017.  This offer will be targeted, meaning not everyone will have access to it, and available in branch only.

There will also be a targeted, in branch offer for the Chase Ink Business Cash card.   With this increased bonus you will earn $500 sign-up bonus (50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) instead of $300 after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of opening your account.  This card has some great bonus categories with no annual fee!
